As part of Domestic Family Violence Month, AIDRWA–Nawamba House has collaborated with community organisations such as NWQICSS–Ngukuthati’s Men’s group – Mount Isa and Mount Isa City Council.
This positive collaboration of community spirit has resulted in an exciting vision coming into fruition in the form of the Red Rose Foundation Red Bench Project.
The presence of a Red Bench in a public location aims to raise awareness of domestic violence and provide an opportunity for this important issue to remain visible.
