Nawamba House, a house inside a heart shape

The Nawamba House Shelter provides accommodation for women and children experiencing/escaping from domestic and family violence.

Services

Nawamba House provides ongoing, trauma-informed support to individuals and families experiencing family and domestic violence. We walk alongside victim-survivors throughout their healing journey, offering safety, advocacy, practical assistance, and therapeutic support that empowers them to rebuild their lives.

Our approach is grounded in compassion, respect, cultural safety, and human rights, recognising each person's strengths while supporting healing, recovery, and long-term independence.
