Strong Moura - Family Participation Program around Aboriginal artwork of orange and black dots and curves in a circle

The Family Participation Program (FPP) – Strong Moura facilitates a family led decision making process to ensure families participate in decision making about the safety and well-being of their children.

Services

The Family Participation Program (FPP) is a strengths-based, family-led service that supports families to understand the Department of Child Safety's concerns and actively participate in decisions about their children's safety and wellbeing. Working alongside families in a collaborative and culturally safe way, FPP creates opportunities for families to have a genuine voice and make informed choices throughout the decision-making process.

FPP recognises that families are the experts in their own lives and works with them to identify their strengths, build on existing supports, and strengthen connections with family, community, and services. By empowering families to lead the planning process, FPP helps develop practical, sustainable solutions that promote the safety, wellbeing, and long-term outcomes of children and young people.
